SAN FRANCISCO’S NEWEST SPORT: TRAPPING WAYMOS IN GIANT CARDBOARD BOXES
The Daily Dumpster Staff
Tech bros in SF are crying foul because locals have figured out that if you drop a large enough cardboard box over a self-driving Waymo, the car just... sits there. It’s a low-tech solution to a high-tech nuisance, and it’s spreading faster than a software update.
[OUR TAKE] The nerds spent billions on LiDAR, sensors, and AI brains, only to be defeated by a discarded refrigerator box from a suburban Costco. It’s beautiful. While the tech giants try to automate us out of existence, the people are fighting back with the same materials used to ship a Peloton. Score one for the monkeys with the cardboard.
